1 Corinthians 2:9-10

9  Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Today’s Inspiration: Most of us search for our life plans and purpose from the world but the truth to the matter is, they are all found in our hearts. And the matter of the truth is God knows our hearts better than we do.

It is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” I Corinthians 2:9-10. Let us not judge anyone by appearance.

Only the Holy Spirit can reveal the truth in our hearts through the Word of God, and the truth will set us free. John 8:32. The world operates intellectually but the kingdom of God moves intuitively, where the former depends on head knowledge but the latter leans on the heart knowledge of God.

I remembered an atheist man who cames to alpha regularly but never accepted Christ. On the contrary he challenges all the evidences of the gospel. No intellectual answers can satisfy, convince or win him over. While everyone has given up on him, a brother moved by the Holy Spirit invited him to a personal session to hear of His plight in life. He was badly wounded emotionally by his father at an early age, and faced many home dysfunctions during his childhood. God opened up his festering wounds and brought healing to his wounded soul. Eventually he got saved and baptised. Praise God! Things are not what they seem they are but there is always hope in evangelism in the Spirit.

Prayer: O Lord My God, help me close my carnal eyes and look into the hearts of the souls around me, with your eyes of truth, wisdom, and compassion. Let thy Holy Spirit lead me to search the deep things of God to set the captives free into your sweet grace of salvation, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Isaiah 44:3

3  For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring;

Today’s Inspiration: The baptism of water is by John and the baptism of spirit is by Jesus. “For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring;” Isaiah 44:3. John told his disciples, which also includes Andrew, the brother of Peter, saying, “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” Matthew 3:11.

A spirit-filled life is of highest importance to live a victorious life in Christ. Fire is like passion for compassion, for without it there is no life or light or even visions. Genesis 1:3.

Fire can disinfect wounds, fuse metals, and refine precious stones like gold. Psalm 12:6 The fire of the Holy Spirit brings revival and healing to the souls for salvation and empowerment for ministry.

When the Pentecost came upon the 120 disciples, they were all filled with tongues of fire and a supernatural revival began to take place with miracles, signs and wonders bringing all nations together as one in Koinonia, the fellowship of the Spirit. None was in lack, oppressed or unwell in the revival. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord My God, light up my 2022 with thy Holy Spirit and Fire. Give a heart of passion for the compassion of Christ. Let I be lesser and you be greater. May the fire on the altar of my life burn unceasingly bright, in Jesus ‘Name, Amen.

Matthew 7:7-8

7  “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will knock, and it will be opened to you.

8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

Faith is not merely talking but moves us into taking actions to encounter God’s divine provisions, power and protection.

God is very specific and highly intentional in creating the world and this includes you and me. Psalm 139:13-14. You can’t go to a market and say you want everything or anything. Likewise, many are praying in general without any breakthroughs. Prophetic prayers are sharp, specific and straight to the core of God’s divine details. David didn’t just say in general that Goliath will be defeated, he proclaimed that God will deliver his head to him and indeed the giant fell forward and not backwards miraculously so that with Goliath’s sword, David fulfilled the proclamation of faith by actions. 1 Samuel 17:46.

Prayer: O Lord My God, as I open my mouth in prayers, lead me into thy specific calling, gifts and destiny that my life be filled with your Promises to be fulfilled by faith. Psalm 81:10 Release thy dreams, visions, and prophecies that I may be your vessel and witness, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Matthew 5:44

44  “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray (F)for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.

Today’s Inspiration: Jesus shared, “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” Matthew 5:43-45. This was one of the most impossible discipleship session by Jesus with the disciples.

Everything that Jesus taught was pointing to His Cross of Calvary and Resurrection, the finished work of Christ. It was never possible for anyone to love his or her enemies, or to walk on this earth without sin, except the Son of God. It may be possible to die for someone you loved or cared for but who would do it for a sinner?

“For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?” Matthew 5:46-47 Christianity doesn’t begin in the Church, it began at the Cross, a life fully given to God and others. “Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:20-21. Let’s choose today to listen and respond to the gospel and obey God’s commands.

Prayer: O Lord My God, for greater is Christ in me to love, bless and do good to those who may have done harm to me, that I may partake your grace at Calvary, and receive atonement by your stripes. Give me strength and resilience in thy Spirit to do the impossible and touch the lives of others like you did, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Matthew 5:17-19

17  “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.

18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.

19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

Today’s Inspiration: Only Love can fulfil the Law. Jesus spoke, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:17-19.

The greatest lesson and purpose of God for us to be on this earth is to Learn how to Love Him. It is the greatest commandment which fulfils all commandments. Matthew 22:37.

To love God with all our hearts, all our souls, and all our strength, and to love our neighbours as ourselves, depicts the full image of Christ. Sad to say many realised this too late in life by pursuing wealth, fame, and selfish desires, over loving God and others. We came here with nothing and we can’t bring any after life. 1 Timothy 6:7.

The greatest experience and encounter of God is repentance, learning to forgive, love and help others to know Christ, through God’s unconditional love for us. Let there be love shared among us.

Prayer: O Lord My God, for it not by might, nor power, by the Spirit of love that I can overcome all emotional and mental challenges in life. Teach me to love, to sow and to build like you did, bearing the fruit of the Spirit which shall please God. Let thy love abounds abundantly within my soul, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Mark 11:23

23  ” For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says..”

Today’s Inspiration: Jesus told the disciples, “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” Mark‬ ‭11:23-25.

Unforgiveness hinders prayers and faith. Many speaks about faith in the body of Christ but few discussed about forgiveness personally. Without the repentance, there is no pleading of the Blood of Jesus, which is the only atonement for all our sins, iniquities, and transgressions, which had stricken many with infirmities.

Romans 3:23 Reconciliation and salvation of families comes only through the consecration of heart, humility and turning back to God. Psalm 51:17. Forgiveness ushers in healing, miracles and breakthroughs from Calvary. Who can change a hardened and broken heart, binding up its wounds? Only Jesus.

Prayer: O Lord My God, thank you for the Cross and the Blood you shed for the atonement of my sins. Give me courage and strength to release forgiveness to others that I may follow Christ, and who the Son sets free, is free indeed, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Matthew 2:2

2   saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”

Today’s Inspiration: Merry Christmas 2021 to one and all! The three wise men came to Jerusalem saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”Matthew 2:2.

During this time in the busyness to buy gifts, holding family gatherings, and feasting in celebrations, take time to worship and give thanks for the Lord for He makes the whole world knows about Him, not just as child born in Bethlehem but a saviour who came to bring salvation, healing and reconciliation of sinners in this world back to God. And He is coming again! John 14:3. Glory to God!

The wisemen not only were rejoicing when the star of the east stopped over Jesus birth, they were preparing to worship Him with their substance of offering, incense, and balm. Least that they know, the Lord gave them a prophetic dream that saved their lives, “Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way.” Matthew 2:12. Praise God! We believe as we worship the Lord in this season, divine dreams, visions, and prophecy shall come upon us and our sons and daughters, young men and women, and the elderly for 2022. Let it be a year of salvation, healing and fruitfulness!

Prayer: O Lord My God, praise you our east and morning star! For your light has come, and may you shine your face and lift up your countenance upon us and our families, to bless us with thy strength, peace and favour for those who worship you, my Lord, my king and my saviour, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Luke 10:27

27  So he answered and said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and  ‘your neighbor as yourself.’”

Today’s Inspiration: Jesus taught, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27.

This was written at the heart of the parable of the Good Samaritan. It speaks of man being attacked by robbers, stripped, beaten, and left to die, between Jerusalem and Jericho. But sadly his plight was totally ignored by the Priest and the Levite, who were supposed to show compassion, love and mercy to the afflicted but chose to “pass by on the other side”, meaning they saw but ignored the man who was stricken. Luke 10:25-37.

We all desire the blessings of God, but we so often are oblivious to mercy. We are so caught up by the busyness of life, we neglected the needs of others, especially in the family and body of Christ. Jesus was revealing that even a priest or levite can know all about religiosity but have no mercy in the heart. It is not about how much you know in life, but how much you care for others. Even a Samaritan can have a heart of mercy and great faith to rescue and restore a Jew, how much more in Christ. How can we miss the Cross and deny our Conscience? Let’s help our neighbour today as a Good Samaritan or even better a disciple of Christ.

Prayer: O Lord My God, let I not passer by the other side but be of help to my neighbours. Fill me with thy mercy that many who has needs in my path will be blessed and helped so that Christ may be glorified and they too can be merciful to others, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
