15-16 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
God will never forget you for He has inscribed you at the palm of His hands. His delay in answering your prayer is not denial but to produce patience in you, a valuable fruit of the Spirit. Isa 49:15-16.
All He desires from you is a heart to love Him to the fullest, a heart to love yourself and a heart to love others which is His best two commandments to comply for God is Love. Love from a pure heart and not one of hypocrisy is the way to divine health.
An angry and bitter spirit will lead to the destruction of one’s body. Habitual sin of anger is uncontrollable and have to be exterminated through forgiveness of oneself and others who offended you. Many a time you justify yourself with anger. The reality is you need to deliver the message with love and understand the heart of your loved ones. They do care but they lack the skill of communication or take each other for granted. This is what destroys relationship today. The home is supposed to be the most safest place but the intrusion of anger has made it a dreadful place to live.
Its time we learn the skill of communication. Isa 50:4-5. Learn the style of wisdom from Jesus how he rebuked the Pharisees in Matthew 5. You need to ask God for spiritual discernment to be able to discern the other party’s needs and reflect if the words we want to speak truly doesn’t hurt before we deliver the message.
Throughout the Bible the Lord taught us to guard our tongue because from it comes blessings and curses depending on what we say. Pro 18.21. David asked God to guard his lips in Psa 141:3.
Relationships are ruined because of our uncontrollable outburst of anger.
As children of God, we must reflect God’s divine attribute of wisdom when we speak. If we should rebuke, it must not be rebuked out of bitterness and wrath that might lead to abuse emotionally or physically but of love. You can be angry but not to wallow in it nor in self pity which are all sins. Eph 4.26. Are your words corrupt or with grace? — Verse 29. Don’t give the devil any opportunity. — Verse 27.
Carry God’s peace along with you that can break down every wall.
The One who created you may allow you to go through testing for the sake of righteousness but He will never forsake you because He has chosen you to bear fruit that delivers you from all troubles and that His name be glorified. John 15:16. In His time He shall deliver you from your trials. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. His anger is only for a moment but His favour is for a lifetime. Psa 30:5.
