10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
When God placed a person in an adversity, the first thing a hurting person does is getting into denial and starting to justify. But not so with Paul who continues to perform the work of the ministry. Paul was a powerful vessel used by God but was placed in a lot of adverse situation. The test of your strength of your faith lies in the time of your adversity, calamity and distress. .
Do you wish to quit because of injustice? Paul did not quit in the presence of king Agrippa. He explained his conversion was due to his encounter with Jesus where Jesus questioned him why he was persecuting him.
What you do to others you do to Jesus (Acts 26:14). It was time that God’s work be not hindered. Paul has to be converted so that the Gospel be preached to Asia minor (Acts 26:15-17).
When God saved us He has chosen us to be His minister and witness. What about you? This applies to all believers not only those who are called to the 5 fold ministry.
