48 And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”
Today’s Inspiration: When Jesus healed a person He will tell them to go in peace. Their faith had healed them. Luke 8:48. When Jaurus’ daughter was dead, those around him could not discern the ability of Jesus to resurrect the dead. Jesus told them not to fear, just believe and she will be healed. V49-50.
Today many people received their miraculous healing because of positive affirmations and confessions.
There is a time for everything – a time to kill and a time to heal. Ecclesiastes 3:3. Yesterday I shared about careless words that are spoken will be judged on the last day. Today God wants you to know that there are affirmations that can move mountains. Jesus who won victory over satan by declaring God’s words It is written…. King Solomon declared that the more words the less meaningful. How can one profit from these words? Ecclesiastes 6:11. Speak words that are necessary. When you go beyond what is necessary to speak, you provoke reactions causing fiery arrows to be shot causing us distress. Marriages are destroyed because of careless words spoken out of formative experiences and influences that arose out of wounded spirits. He also advised us not to be quickly provoked in the spirit because anger resides in the lap of fools. V9. All these are snares of the enemy.
Let God be your confidence instead. The enemy had a tendency to touch your weakest emotion to speak provoking or sarcastic words. Many people have defeated lives because they have ignored the landmines set up by satan. The Bible tells us not to be ignorant of these devices as ignorance is not blissful. 2 Corinthians 2:11.
When we speak, we must speak God’s words. By so doing we are invoking the divine power and authority over our circumstances. The word is the biggest authority in the universe. It is so powerful that when we speak, it accomplishes what it pleases and prosper the things for which it is sent. Isaiah 55:11.
The word of God brings healing. Psalm 107:20. It restores health to you and heal you of your wounds. Jeremiah 30:17. His word convicts us of sin of unrighteousness and by His stripes we are healed. 1 Peter 2:24. When the word of God is spoken, it gets into the blood stream and moves from cell to cell to transform the negative emotions to positive confessions and affirmations which yield Good returns.
The word of God is a treasure that we should appreciate, value and keep always within our hearts. Faith can only be built up by positive affirmations. Keep your mind focused on the word which is a double-1edged sword, dividing soul and spirit and discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart. Give the word of God your undivided attention so that doubt can be purged out once the word of God enters our inner being to displace it. Therefore treasure the word of God in our hearts. Proverbs 7:1.
