1 Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
Today’s Inspiration: Indeed its true, unless the Lord builds the House we labour in vain who build it. Children are a heritage from the Lord and the fruit of the womb is a reward. Psalm 127:1, 3. The Lord has always promised that the sceptre of the wicked shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous so do not fear. Psalm 125:3. Our life needs to be built on faith. Job made it clear that his calamity was due to the fear he had. Job 3:25. Fear is inevitable but we must not dwell on it. The word of God must be given undivided attention. It is a treasure to be appreciated and to be valued in our heart that we be refreshed daily and find rest and joy in them. In Him we have peace and keep the enemy shut up. His word must be taken into our heart with much conviction of the Holy Spirit to remind us of the folly we have brought upon ourselves that we no longer have to face such adversities again. The word of God must be read and consumed our soul like fire in Jeremiah 23:29 so that it will pierce deep into our hearts. The word of God must be hammered into our hearts to break the rebellion, the doubt and hardness of hearts before they can be revelation and profitable to us. God’s word always brings spiritual blessings. Whatever blessings in the spiritual must be manifested in the natural. Psalm 1:3.
We can never touch lives nor change them without love from a pure heart, a good conscience and from sincere faith. 1 Timothy 1:5. People today are looking for love and acceptance especially if they cannot find love in their home. Always walk in love as Christ loved us and given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:2. We can never outgive God for such sacrifice. God loves a cheerful giver. The Blood of Jesus makes everything possible but it takes faith and obedience to possess them in our lives.
Let us purge out the old life that we may take on a new life that is pleasing to God through the Lord’s truth that can set us free. John 8:32. It was for freedom that Christ has set us free. Why be ensnared by the enemy again by your fear and doubt? Believe and you will see His glory. John 11:40. Things that are not, call forth into being and nothing will be impossible. Romans 4:17.
