Psalm 105:42

42  For He remembered His holy promise, and Abraham His servant.

Today’s Inspiration: For all that God did for us He did because of His covenant with Abraham His servant. He freed the Israelites from bondage because He remembered His promise to Abraham. Psalm 105:42, Genesis 15:13-14, 18-20. God will never back out on His covenant regardless of circumstances.

We yearn each day for a deeper understanding of God. Besides depth of understanding we need to apply God’s word to our life. Transformation on outside may lead us to illusion but not so with change on the inside. Transformation is therefore the key to unlock deep treasures of God.

Its depth of understanding of God that caused an awakening in the spirit for a change towards quality life. Until we abide to His instructions, we can never get out of the pit to governing from His palace. Joseph has to go through so much trials until the insight of the power of God placed him into a position second to Pharaoh. Without severe trials he would not have insight into forgiveness of his brothers that led them to possess the rich and refreshing pastures of Goshen that protect and prosper them for a redemption beyond measure. The trials and testing over the years curbed the pride of his flesh that exalt him to a place where God destined him to be. We can never hasten His timing of trial. God’s plans are perfect and He takes time to prepare us for His calling.

The prodigal son could not attain rulership till he is heavily tested and humbled to the extent of desiring to be his father’s servant. Luke 15:18, 22-24. Hence testing is God’s preparation of a greater destiny beyond our comprehension. Therefore, do not grow weary of doing good for in due time you shall reap beyond measure if you don’t lose heart. Galatians 6:9. God be praised.

Prayer: Lord whatever You do is for Your pleasure. I need Your wise counsel to build and to plant. Without Your power I can do nothing good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
