1 John 1:6-8
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
Today’s Inspiration: God desires a two way conversation with you. Normally in our prayer, we tend to send our petition but never wait for Him to speak. God desires fellowship with you. Some Christians feel good fellowship with God is enough. This is contrary to scriptures. 1 John 1:6-8 clearly calls for fellowship with Him and with one another if we walk in the light. If we have special fellowship with God, we will fellowship with His people. By so doing, we receive cleansing through the Blood of Jesus. This is more than a handshake but a vital intertwined relationship that makes two or more people inseparable.
All parts of our body are joined to each other for the blood to flow. The same is true of the church. The life of the flesh is in the blood. Leviticus 17:11. For His life to flow through us we must join together in unity in all circumstances.
Satan always aimed at disrupting church family and biological family because once they are United, they form a huge army that will be invincible. As we approach 2020 God is realigning family into one whole and together they merge into church family to form a huge army of God for the greatest harvest of the times. At this point of time God wants His people to be sons and daughters of the King. Their faithfulness will be demonstrated by their endurance of any onslaught of the enemy.
We need to thank God for the trials we go through because through it, we desperately seek God who will reveal to us more and more of Himself. Without trials, self rules the day which will be disastrous. This is why James wrote in verse James 1:12 ‘Blessed is a man who persevered under trial for once he is approved, he receives the crown of life which the Lord has promised those who loved Him.’ Only the weak and immature do not see trials as opportunities to grow the fruit of the spirit and to enter the Kingdom.
The devil constantly deceived us that trials are placed over us because the Lord is not pleased with us. In fact we should be more concerned if we do not go through trials. Those who go through trials are those the devil dreads. No discipline seems good but it enabled us to fix our eyes on Jesus more and more. Hebrews 12:2. We can only bear fruit if we abide in Him. John 15:4. Through abiding in Him we will have the most fruitful purposeful lives on Earth. Our life need to be a testimony therefore let your life keep glorifying God. Keep pursuing Him and devote your life knowing Him, that you live according to His will and allowing Him to perform miracles for you that His name be continually glorified.
Let’s press on towards the goal of producing fruit of the spirit and bring His prophecy to fulfillment. His promises are yes and amen. 1 Corinthians 1:20. God be praised!
