James 2:17

17  Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Today’s Inspiration: Faith by itself if not accompanied by action is dead. James 2:17. As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. James 2:26.

Had Abraham not offered his son by faith as commissioned by God, his faith would not have been complete without compliance. For this, it was credited to him as righteous and he became God’s friend. Verses 21-23.

Your choice reflect your priorities especially in the various relationships of your life. Fruit is normally hidden in the precious seed we sow. We have to wait for them to grow to a glorious plant with flowers and bear golden fruit. Sowing in patience, in peace and in great expectations reaps a harvest of righteousness that bears fruit for you in every way.

Our thoughts and our words are powerful. What words are they sown daily? Our tongue is small but can daily wreak havoc. James 3:5. When we work in unity with others, we are sowing peace and thus will reap harvest of righteousness. When we perfectly control our words, we control our entire body. Your body reacts to your thoughts and words. Romans 4:17 you can have whatever you desire. Proverbs 23:7 whatever you think so be it. Hence think and speak good things and not out of envy, selfishness and strife. Your body will gradually deteriorate if you are full of negative thoughts and words. Do not let our words be like wild fire, igniting entire course of your life. This fire is from the pit of hell. What you sow you reap. Galatians 6:7.

This is why Jesus said ‘Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God.’ Matthew 5:8. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. Verse 9.

Finally Hebrews 12:12 you need to strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. It’s talking about your walk with Him to be upright.
