1 Walk prudently when you go to the house of God; and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil.
2 Do not be rash with your mouth, and let not your heart utter anything hastily before God. For God is in heaven, and you on earth; therefore let your words be few.
3 For a dream comes through much activity, and a fool’s voice is known by his many words.
Today’s Inspiration: Let our words be few. Let us not be hasty in our heart to utter anything before God. He is in heaven and we are on earth. Vows made need to be fulfilled. Ecclesiastes 5:1-3.
Jesus knew all our weakness and hence He came and took all our failures and sins to the cross and with His blood He redeems us. God is willing to meet you where you are and help you to get to where you need to be. He wants to bring you to a deeper personal relationship with you. Psalm 27:4, John 15:4.
God has a timing to fulfil your desires. Your responsibility is not to figure out what is happening to you but to keep your eyes focused on Jesus and His life purpose for you. Timing and trusting Him works side by side. When we accept God’s timing, we can learn to live in hope and enjoy our lives whilst God works on our problems. God’s plan for our life is good and when we entrust ourselves to Him, we can experience total peace and happiness. God intervenes only when you are ready for the next level of faith.
Exodus 13:17-18 God led the Israelites the longer route to the Promised land because He knew they were not ready to enter. He has to phase out the stumbling blocks in our life which is our old life. All the grumblers and complainers and those lacking faith were stumbling blocks to the promises He had for them. These have to die so that the remnants can enter with new zeal, new fervour, new faith and new confidence. Our old life must die to attain new ground. Galatians 2:20. There is a time for everything. Ecclesiastes 3:1.
Be patient and don’t give up. He has promised you a hope and a future, a promise of health and healing. Jeremiah 29:11, Jeremiah 33:6. Wait for His intervention. Do not be hasty to make decisions on what you hear with your ears nor judge by what you see. Isaiah 11:3. He always has better plans for you. Isaiah 55:9, 11.
