2 Chronicles 32:8
8 With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
2 Chr 32:8 in the midst of battling against your diseases or lack or even warfare, we ought to remember that those with us are more than the problems before us. When you don’t fight the battle with your flesh, God is with you. If God is with you, you will easily win the battle because His awesome presence will overwhelm everyone and every knee will have to bow including every disease and every poverty mentality.
We need the wisdom of God to guide us along the path that seems to have no return. Just do not be deceived. God will not be mocked. What is sown in thought will be reaped. Gal 6.7.
God is love. His heart is full of compassion when He sees our plight. He will not leave us unattended. Mat 9:36.
Many a time we look for things that were not in line with our calling. Instead of waiting upon the Lord for those that will stay with us, we look for those who have different agenda. Some are meant for you, others don’t belong to your pasture so do not be anxious or dismayed when men departed from you. God is greater than your hearts and knows what you need. Mt 6.8. Only God’s purpose will last.
Do not focus to please the multitudes. Disciple the people you have even a handful to the standards of God. Only those with God’s standards can weather the storms with you and produce the quantity you need.
What is God speaking to you this morning? Jesus groomed only 12 but produced 500 disciples out of the 12. He had the multitudes but he only focus on the 12 gifted one who will fulfill His purpose.
