1 O Lord, You have searched me and known me.

Today’s Inspiration: God comprehends every part of us even our inward nature and the secrets of our heart. He understands all our thoughts, which men cannot fathom. He knows all our path, and all our ways for we are His creation. Like David says, we cannot flee from His presence. Jonah tried and God caught up with him by sending a storm that landed him into a fish’s stomach. Psalm 139:1-3, 7, Jonah 1:17.
The whole Bible is all about men of God having a covenantal relationship with God to be successful, and to live a life of prayer through the meditation of the word to be successful and lessons of life. Good character and spirit of humility and love are foremost in the heart of God. The Goal of Christianity is to be transformed to be Christ-likeness as we are formed to His image. Genesis 1:26. Making rash decisions leads us to disaster. Its the landmine of the enemy. Leading by the spirit is the best way to an everlasting abundant life because we are a spirit and God is a spirit.
You can never be authoritative in the spirit unless you conquer first in the spirit for you are the battle axe of God in this world of perversion. When king David was betrayed by those he loved, he did not despair but pray. Many prefer to be complacent Christians and shun intercession for fear of satanic attacks. But a life without prayer will be a defeated Christian. Which would you choose? Romans 8:5 exhorts us not to allow anyone or anything hinder you from doing the will of God. Stand your ground against the attacks of the enemy and choose to be more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Romans 8:37, 39.
Do not give in to the enemy’s threats but take the enemy forces through prayer. Maintain your intimate links with God so that you will know His will for your life. Do not vacate your post but trust God to give you victory over every attack against you. Nehemiah did not bother about the enemy’s threats. He knew the will of God. If we read Nehemiah, you will see that he was not affected by the enemy forces but focus on doing God’s will instead of the enemy’s threats and completed the assignment of rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem in 52 days. He did not vacate his post but be a faithful watchman trusting God to give him victory over every attack against him. Do not fear your Tobiah and Sanballat. Learn how Nehemiah prayed, one of which is in Nehemiah 6:11-14. God exhorts us to be strong and do not let our hands be weak for our work will be rewarded. 2 Chronicles 15:7.
