Today’s Inspiration: God loves His people and will protect His people even in the midst of deadly crisis. Deuteronomy 6:22-23. We are to keep ourselves emotionally healthy n let go of the past and not to react to any offenses but to let go. Satan wants to remind us of past wounds to deter us from moving forward but as God’s people, we are to move forward regardless of circumstances. Deuteronomy 7:5 tells us to break down old altars that have been ingrained into our behavior and attitudes since we are now called out to be His chosen people and treasured possession. V6.
Fear has always been our deadly enemy that paralysed our potential. This is why God gave us His everlasting love and if you understand what His love is, you will not fear because His perfect love casts out fear. 1 John 4:18.
We have fear because we do not pay much attention to His word. His word are not idle words but words for our life to prosper us in health, wealth and in relationships. Deuteronomy 32:47, 13-14.
It’s not the skill nor military strength that is important but His word that grant us victory. One good example is Goliath’s threats boasting of his military skill and strength but the Bible says that those boasting are merely empty words. 2 Kings 18:20. David came not with military skill but simple skills of catapult and stone and the name of the Lord conquered the invincible giant whom king Saul and his army feared. 1 Samuel 17:47-50. Anointing of victory will not follow a man with fear but men of great courage filled with the Holy Spirit.
David always calls upon the Lord in times of crisis with no avenue out and was saved from the enemies. 2 Samuel 22:4. It’s his songs of praise that helped him overcome even the fiercest battle. He rescued us from even the deadliest enemy who were too strong for us. Let the Lord be your support always. Let Him delight in us so that we are spared. V18. As David sang in his praises in v31 His ways are perfect, His words flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him. Who then is God besides the Lord? Who is the Rock except our God? V32.
So let us focus on the Lord and His ways that all maybe well for us. God be praised. Meditate on these praises today!
