12 For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?
No man can predict what is to come. Trauma hits a man without warning. Ecc 6:12.
Hence we have to make the right choice in life – choice of right decision, right words, right action.
87 percent of the world’s diseases are attributed to our thought life that led to the choice of words to speak forth. Our thought life is converted to a physical reaction. There is therefore a mind-body connection as proven by innumerous medical researches.
What we meditate determines our life – success or failure. What we meditate affects reactions in our body in the form of electric current travelling along the nerves of our brain which produces various hormones and electrical energy that flows through our entire body in response to those thoughts. In short what you think affects the whole body as much as what you say affects the whole body.
There are so many self destructive talks that cripples our potential in God. Job said in Job 3:.25 whatever he feared comes to him. Job 3:25 At the opening of the chapter we were told he is the richest man in the east but he feared his children’s actions did not please God and made on behalf of them. His thought gives the devil an opportunity to strike.
He lost all that he had including his health. God has to deal with his pride, his religious thinking and fears to convert him. Many believers are not converted as they still continue with their old ways and thoughts. Conversion is made possible through the meditation of His word and allowing the Holy spirit to convict us that we might be transformed. Repentance that is good for our soul is about change. When we change our thoughts we achieve success and have our health and wealth back a double fold. Our eyes of our understanding need to be enlightened before His mighty power of change can take place. Eph 1:18-19.
