4 Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering,
5 but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.
Today’s Inspiration: Good attitude is therefore very important. Since the beginning of time, God values attitude of giving more than the gift. Genesis 4:4-5. He rewards those with the right attitude of giving. What is your attitude of giving? The fruit of giving is better than fine gold and what they yield surpasses choice silver. Wealth, health and honor is in His hands and He bestows wealth to those who love Him and seek Him. With Him are riches, honour, enduring wealth and prosperity and He desires to make your treasuries full. Proverbs 8:17-21.
Who do you serve? Who you serve will be those who control you. Many desire to build the Kingdom but not willing to give with good attitude. David and his elders give willingly and what a wealth of resources he left for his descendants. 1 Chronicles 29:11-20.
God promotes the insignificant and humble. You never know who you are raising up till the time of fulfillment. Jochebed the mother of Moses whose name is mentioned only twice in the Bible Exodus 6:20 and Numbers 26.59 raised up the greatest deliverer in biblical history even though she conceived and birthed him with intense fear of the baby under the judgement of death of pharaoh. Her name bore the meaning of glory of Jehovah. How important is the name of a person.
She never knew that she would bring so much glory to Jehovah through her son Moses, neither did she know that in her womb was a baby of great destiny. She was an excellent steward of His presence daily worshipping God and having dialogue with Him. God is more concerned of who you are and the extent of allowing Him to shape you to who He wants you to be than what you say or do. God shaped her to a person who trusts God fearlessly and walk in spiritual authority with wisdom, timing and revelation of God.
Timing is so important for everything we do. Satan always war against God’s timing but God turned it to His glory. No one can fathom His timing. Only one who knows God’s heart knows God’s timing as he relied on Him. At the right timing of three months, she released Moses to the Nile river much to her amazement when he was returned to be nurtured till another great time of the Lord. This denotes that nurturing of a soul to be a great man of God requires more than three months. Jochebed must be a woman of prayer who watched and pray according to night watches appointed by God and thus able to be so specific to discern God’s timing and what she was destined to do. With the closeness to Jehovah’s heart, she was able to walk with spiritual authority and did not carry the yoke but exchanged the yoke with Jehovah. Matthew 11:30.
She became mother of nations receiving wisdom to shape the destiny of a deliverer in Moses. She never knew she would raise up a mighty man of God like Moses who would be used by God to perform signs and wonders to shame the nations. Though Rachel had a short life she birthed Joseph who glorified God in wisdom, knowledge and revelation that empowered him to feed the nations in times of famine.
God is calling both biological mothers and spiritual mothers in this age and time to raise up deliverers to take great exploits in His kingdom with great impact and to release them to the four corners of the earth. You never know who you are carrying in your womb and this applies to the spiritual womb as well. Will you be the biological mother or spiritual mother who will carry and raise up a deliverer to send revival to the nations in this endtime?
