1 Peter 5:6-7
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Today’s Inspiration: Man is prone to wonder and worry about little things in life. Jesus in Matthew 6:27 says that by worrying you cannot add another day to your life or resolve an issue.
Worrying weakens our immune system thereby rendering us prone to diseases. Instead of worrying we need to believe by faith that God has a solution for us. By worrying we are telling God that we do not trust Him enough to handle our problems and we need to solve them ourselves. Yet the Bible tells us to cast our cares upon Him for He cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7.
Worrying is a choice. Worrying denotes a failure to trust. If we want God to answer our prayers, we should not worry but place our trust in Him that no problem is too big He cannot solve it as He knows our problems even before we put our request to Him with thanksgiving. Matthew 6:8. You can resolve all your issues through trusting God with all your heart and not reason in your mind that your problem is too big to be resolved. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow for worrying is like a rocking chair. It rocks but do not get you anywhere. The things you worry about may not be what you should be worrying about. Instead examine yourself and pull out the roots of the problems that are not planted by the Lord. Matthew 15:13. God be praised.
Prayer: Lord help my unbelief. Let me place my full trust in You that all maybe well with me. Uproot the roots of my problem which only you know about. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
