Isaiah 56:7

Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

Today’s Inspiration: The Lord is reminding us that the House of God should be a House of prayer for all nations so that He can preserve them from evil. It’s at His House, the Holy mountain that He will give joy. Isaiah 56:7-8. He is going to gather back all the exiles besides those already gathered.

He is always looking for intercessors but He found none. Ezekiel 22:30. He is asking us where are the Daniel’s, the Esther’s, the Joseph’s and the Deborah’s. It’s time to gather in the House of prayer to call forth a solemn assembly and pray.

Daniel was a prophetic intercessor and he knew ahead of time what God was going to do. He had sharp intellect and wisdom to interpret the dreams of the kings and a gifted administrator but it was the interpretation of dreams that defines the hallmark of his life. Daniel 5:12. He knew his calling. He learns directly from God.

Sometimes we wonder why we could not excel like others. The difference lies in building relationship with God through endless dialogue daily. It is at this time where His presence is felt very strongly and it is at this time God reveals your calling and the next move of God for your life.

People at the marketplace cannot afford not to pray. Many are good at prayer but they don’t run to prayer meetings. Instead, they run after prophets for a word. When you look at your abilities and talents, what is your unique core strength? It’s time to focus our energy in building our relationship with God through prayer to discern the times. Without a closer walk with Him, we are not alert to satanic schemes which are landmines we should avoid so that we will not suffer casualties. 2 Corinthians 2:11.

A serious study of the Bible you will discover what a merciful God we have. He comes to our rescue in the nick of time. His love is unconditional that He was willing to lay down His life for His persecutors and the whole world who will receive eternal life if they believe. The way we treat others especially those who are different from us and having a lower stature than us reflects or love for Jesus and His love for them. Why did Jesus have so much compassion for the two blind men who cry out to Him? He wanted to bring real transformation to him. A compassionate person has power of transformation. Matthew 20:29-34.

If we are to be like Jesus, we must be a person of prayer. He sought God even before dawn. Mark 1.35. He prayed for His disciples to have unity with each other and also the unity with His Father like the way He had unity with His Father. John 17:20-23. He prayed that they be sanctified by the truth. It’s time we assemble together in prayer at our prayer meeting for there is power in prayer when His people gather together.

The reason why people are not in prayer meeting is because prayer is no longer an emphasis in churches today and this is why churches are weak. It’s time to gather at the wall and stand in the gap for our nation and our community. May you be alert to the urgent call to pray corporately for our young generation to be restored back to God and walk righteously and not rebel against the governing authority and to pray for peace and unity in this land. Submission and obedience is the call to the young generation. It’s time the children of this land appreciate and value what they have. Let us have the heart of a warrior as our Lord is our warrior King who always lead us to victory.

He is Jehovah Shabbaoth who leads Joshua and his men to bring down the strongholds of Jericho. All God’s people are enlisted to be in the Army of God and this is why He keeps calling us to put on the full armour of God so that we will overtake the enemies to crush them. Ephesians 6:10-18. This armour is more powerful than the physical armour and we cannot afford to take them off. Don’t put your armour in cold storage. Wear it throughout the day so that you can discern the fiery darts of the enemy at any time way ahead of his application of his strategies. If you are in business, you need prayer like never before.
