2 Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.
Today’s Inspiration: How do we read the Bible each morning? Each one tend to approach it with different perspective according to one’s circumstances. Even the four gospel writers wrote the Gospel with different perspective. Each is unique from the other. All scriptures are written for our learning that we through patience and comfort might have hope. It is for our edification as well. Romans 15:2, 4.
We can only abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. V13. In this chapter, it is written that the scriptures are meant to reach out to the Gentiles to rejoice with the Jews, the original chosen people. As you read the scriptures, let His voice inside of you be louder than your own voice so that the Holy Spirit can prompt you to change the direction you are going as the path you are taking maybe filled with dangers ahead.
Jesus’ mission on Earth was to explain all the scriptures that were taught wrongly by the religious leaders of His day and moved them from law to grace and reconcile the Jews with Gentiles for three years with the disciples. We likewise have to go on the same path to bring salvation or at least pray for the salvation not only of our own people but the Jews and other gentile Nations. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8.
Cleansing must be from inside out and not external only. The laws of God are meant to be protective and not restrictive. For all things we do, there must be His purpose. You may wish to rewrite your purpose statement in your mission statement. We must find security in the changeless Christ and His word provided us freedom in the spirit.
Let us pray that we teach right and make the Gospel real in our life and those we reach out to so that light will fill the whole world. Have a deep desire to know Him more and more! God be praised!
