1 Thessalonians 5:23
23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Today’s Inspiration: In Christ you have been enriched in everything – in speaking, in knowledge. 1 Corinthians 1:4. He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who called you is faithful. V8-9.
At the same time, He warned the church that if you think you are standing firm, be careful you don’t fall. 1 Corinthians 10:12. Our call needed to be consistent.
Sometimes we take grace for granted and felt that since we were not instantly punished, God has approved and allowed our works. On the contrary, it’s God’s directive to change and if you test Him up to ultimatum, You will see yourself being frozen at some stage of your life stuck, not knowing which direction to take. God will not tolerate a church that is self-centred with self-ambition. God cares for you and testing comes to freeze you at your tracks to show He loves you and wanted your attention to His instructions. Therefore, attend to His word attentively and apply to your life for transformation. Proverbs 4:20-23.
God cares enough to see that you are sanctified enough to align you to present kingdom culture and that to come in eternity. We need to be sanctified through and through so that our whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23. He who called you is Holy, faithful and true and expect full sincerity of the truth. God be praised.
Prayer: Lord God may You find us holy and blameless in your sight always. Search our hearts this morning Lord for You know all things even the deepest recesses of our heart. Let us not be mastered by anything except by You O Lord. May you occupy fully the throne of our heart and direct us to Your truth always. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
