12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
We should not allow our compassion to overtake us. We ought to be discerning and hear from the Holy spirit. Do not take any offence but to give the offence to God as He judges righteously. In any victory there is bound to be backlash. Its a test of faith. James says to persevere despite testing. Once you overcome you will have the crown of life. Its a promise from God. Jam 1:12.
2 Tim 4:5 exhorts us to be watchful in all things and to endure afflictions and do the work of evangelist to fulfill your ministry so don’t give up. Jesus was tormented beyond man’s recognition but he never reviled. He forgives them for they do not know what they do.
A hurting person tends to hurt others and always have wrong perceptions and react childishly of past fear, rejection, inadequacy injustice, shame, insecurity and control of parents in infancy and childhood. They have no basic trust during infancy so they react to perceptions that is not the truth. Its these childish reactions of childhood that needs healing by Jesus. We cannot reverse the events. Only childish reactions can be redeemed to separate them from our spirit and our soul. Jesus says in 1 Thes 4:7 we are called to holiness not uncleanness. Those childish reactions Jesus says need to be sanctified by the truth. John 17:17. So avoid childish reactions. 1 Cor 13:11.
Many believers are still unloving, unforgiving and slanderers without self control and despisers of good in 2 Tim 3:3-4. We do not cast them aside but forgive them and pray for God’s mercy for them. These people need healing or they will be arrested in spiritual development and relationship with God is warped. God rebuked Job for justifying in Job 40.8. Therefore we should not justify but leave room for God’s wrath. Many diseases like stroke, cancer heart diseases, blood diseases and diabetes are rampant today because of angry reactions and unloving spirit. The soul needs healing. What the mind perceives the body reacts. So be mindful of your mind, heart and your mouth. Wrongful attitudes affect the body systems which many do not realise the repercussions.
Childhood that are good or bad affect your life today and its a reality. Those who believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to man Titus 2:8. Live life worthy unto the Lord and resist the enemy who uses your weakness to torment others. Be sober and vigilant. Have the mind of Christ who has the fullness of the fruit of the spirit. If we don’t bear much fruit we are not His disciples. John 15.8.
