21 Also your people shall all be righteous;
They shall inherit the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified.
Today’s Inspiration: The Lord has promised all of us righteousness and as people of God we shall inherit the land of promise. We are the work of His hands, the branch in which He planted that His name be glorified. Isaiah 60:21. We shall multiply in thousands in His time. Verse 22. What you sow you shall reap. Galatians 6:7.
In Romans 5:17 those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life through Christ Jesus our Lord. This truth forms the foundation of our Christian faith. God has given us spiritual discipline of spiritual life as a means of receiving His grace. Spiritual Disciplines allows us to place ourselves before God so that he can transform us.
A farmer cannot grow grain. He can only plant the seed and provide the right ground for growing. He cultivates the ground. He plants the seed, he waters the plants and then the natural forces of the earth takes over and up comes the grain. Hence disciplines are God’s ways of getting us into the ground and put us where He can work within us and transforms us. Spiritual disciplines can get us to the place where something can be done.
Grace is free but it is not cheap. Spiritual growth is the purpose of spiritual disciplines. The path of spiritual disciplines leads to inner transformation and healing for which we seek. We must stay on the path. We must always remember the path does not produce change. It only places us where the change occurs.
Divine love must slip into our inner spirit to produce change and cause righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy spirit to spring up. Romans 14:17. Until God’s virtues take over our personality in our soul, our spirit man will be constantly in conflict with our flesh which manifest in the natural not only in hurting ourselves but in getting angry with others to satisfy our ego. In the process, we cause unnecessary hurt to others and hinder our relationship with God. Do not agree with the enemy to kill your soul that leads to your destruction but the Bible says that we should not be weary while doing Good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore we must take every opportunity to do good to all especially those of the household of faith which includes the ones we love. Galatians 6.9-10.
When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. Fear God not fear men. What can man do to you? Though an army may come against you, your heart should not fear. Though war may rise against you, in this you will be confident that you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Psalm 27:3, 13. One thing you should seek. That you will dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of your life to behold the beauty of the Lord and inquire in His holy temple. Verse 4.
Calm the storms within you that keep wanting to manifest. Instead of shame, you shall receive double honour. Instead of confusion, you shall rejoice in their portion. Let everlasting joy be yours as you shall possess double for your land Isaiah 61.
