18 “I will open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.”
Today’s Inspiration: The Lord is able to open rivers in desolate heights and fountains in the midst of valleys. He is able to make the wilderness a pool of water and the dry land springs of water. Isaiah 41:18.
What cannot the Lord who is the Almighty Most high God do for you? Nothing is too difficult for Him. God will surely have mercy on those who called upon Him. God will not give His glory to another.
Paul gave Timothy a difficult task at Ephesus and keep encouraging him that God is the Divine witness and ultimate overseer who is watching over everything. He knows every situation and every person. Nothing escapes His notice. He must be full of faith and faithfulness as he makes himself available to God to such an extent that his life and ministry will be full of divine grace and power being marked with integrity and effectiveness. He is to keep His command without spot blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing which He will manifest in His own time. He is the Blessed King of kings and Lord of all lords who alone dwells in unapproachable light whom no man has seen or can see in whom be honor and everlasting power. 1 Timothy 6:13-16. Timothy is to keep his eyes not on circumstances but on the King of kings and Lord of all lords. V15. This he must do in the midst of sorting out all problems and discharging his pastoral duties in the church. I am sure this message is also speaking to all of us in our service to Him.
Prayer: Lord grant me your grace and mercy and power to fight a good fight and finish the race and remain faithful to the end. Lord I need you Oh I need You precious Lord every minute of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
