Exodus 3:12

12  So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

Today’s Inspiration: When God called us to an assignment, He provided us with every thing we needed including His presence. When He called Moses into an assignment to deliver the Israelites from Egypt, He clearly instructed him what to do and never failed to deliver him and the Israelites out of every hindrance put up by the enemy along the way. His presence was with them all the way. And he clearly shared with him that after completion of the assignment, He will serve Him at the holy mountain. Exodus 3:12. God knows our hearts well in advance. He knew in advance even before Moses answered the call, that he will fail one task that will prevent him from crossing over to the Promised Land. God knows every heart of ours. We cannot hide from Him.

It is important therefore for us to grow into the purpose of God that He has for us. We must come to terms with ourselves where we are at the moment, how are we going to accomplish His mission with the gifts and abilities God has allotted to us in this era.

We need to have the fearlessness, trust, obedience and patience like Noah. Noah trusted God without wavering even though the task ahead was difficult and he will be mocked at. Even after the rains, the water on the Earth could not receded. How could the Ark withstand such violent weather and how could Noah be so steadfast with the Ark tossing to and fro against the storms which are worst than the present tsunami, high rocketing them above the mountains, is something we need to ponder about. Without weathering such stormy weather, would Noah have attained the wealth God has granted him ultimately and the new era that follows? All the old generation have died leaving the remnants to build a new generation where God covenanted with Noah that never again will He destroy His creation in this manner again as Noah built an altar and offered thanks offering to God when he came out of the Ark. How could he sustain himself and his family in the Ark for one year and ten days? This itself is a great testimony for us and our generation to convince them to trust a true and living God who never leave us nor forsake us. This story truly tells us that we need to go through great test to prepare us for great things to come. We need to grow and develop our gifts so that we can be more effective than ever in this new era.

It seems as if God has forgotten Noah and his family in the Ark yet Genesis 8:1 showed us that God remembered Noah. This statement alone showed that no matter how huge a storm we are facing, God remembered us. More than this, we need to remember God’s faithfulness and unceasing love for us. In our pain, we need to remember God and express how we feel. Psalm 77:3, 11. We need to remember God in our trial and the wonders He had done for us. V14-15. Like us, David had to go through much testing in order to be the godly righteous King God wants him to be. God loved His people that He always set them apart from others and even allocated the land of Goshen for them so that they will be protected from pestilence. Exodus 8:22-23. God always want us to remember Him of His testimonies and mercies. Deuteronomy 8:2. Whenever you have fear in your testing, always remember what the Lord has done for you in the past and will continue to do for you now and in the future for He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Deuteronomy 7:18, 8:18, Hebrews 13:8.

Whatever you are going through, remember The Lord your God. Don’t let your impatience defeat you but let His banner of love be over you. He will watch over you and He who watch over you will not slumber. Psalm 121:3. God be praised!

The message today is that you should never fear for God assured us that whatever we do for His name sake, He will be with us up to the end of age. Matthew 28:20, Joshua 1:5.
