22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca! shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.
Today’s Inspiration: We should not be careless with our words. Very often people call each other stupid or a fool not realizing that these words caused us to be pronounced guilty by the Lord enough to place us in the fiery hell. Matthew 5:22. Therefore before offering your sacrifice to the Lord, you must first reconcile with your brother. V24.
To desire something is not wrong but to desire for something that does not belong to you is lust which motivates you to make all efforts to possess something that don’t belong to you against your own conscience is a sin. Covetousness is the last and most important commandment which governs all commandments.
To desire for something is not wrong but to be motivated to possess it at all costs is abomination to the Lord. Therefore restrict yourself to the confines that God wants you to have. Desire and lust are two different things.
Therefore since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us exercise then according to proportion of our faith. Romans 12:6 for each one of us is given a measure of faith. Romans 12:3. God be praised.
Prayer: Abba Father may we have peace with all men and leave room for God’s wrath for it is written that vengeance is the Lord’s. He will repay. Help us to overcome evil with good because of your grace of salvation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
