7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, but his heart is not with you.
Today’s Inspiration: Whatever we conceive we receive. Proverbs 23:7. It dawned on Jabez that He does not want to have pain anymore and decided to ask God to bless him and enlarge his territory and that God’s hand be upon him and to keep him from all evil that He might not cause pain to others. We do not need to succumb to the meaning of our name. God granted him the request. 1 Chronicles 4:10.
How many of us pray this prayer? He must have suffered much pain and have been inflicting pain on others because a hurting person tends to hurt others. How important it is not to inflict pain on others!
We need to love ourselves as much as we love others. Those who don’t love themselves cannot love others. This tendency attracts many autoimmune diseases today. The roots are fear, anxiety and stress. It is God’s gift to us to have a meaningful happy life.
The Bible tells us to let our heart keep His commandments so that long life and peace be added to us. Proverbs 3:1-2. We need to write His mercy and truth in our hearts so that we will find favour and high esteem in the sight of God and man Proverbs 3:3-4.
God has given us so much of His spiritual supplements for our health. We need to consume them daily for our soul and our body that we may have divine health.
We need to love one another for God is love and he who abides in love abides in God and God in Him. 1 John 4:16. Love covers a multitude of sins and is able to heal even the most deadly diseases. If we do not have love, we do not know God. 1 John 4:8. God is love.
Without love, we strive within our soul. When we strive, the body reacts and attacks itself leading to autoimmune diseases like diabetes, arthritis, osteoarthritis and other bone problems. Stay happy and be blessed today.
