1 Peter 5:8
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Today’s Inspiration: Your words are powerful. Whatever you think and confess each day, so be it. The Lord has given the words in the Bible to us to apply to our life so that life in the Kingdom is blissful but we tend to worry and dwell unnecessarily at the lies that were planted by our wealth of experiences that had been traumatic in our life. It is far easier to retain a negative word even if it is rare than a promising word which is all inscribed in the Bible and by our testimonies and appraisals by men. Apostle Peter did warn us about our adversary the devil who walks about like a roaring lion waiting for those he can devour. 1 Peter 5:8. The devil’s voice seems louder than God’s voice when it should be the other way round. We are to resist him and be steadfast in our faith. V9.
Faith must come from the inside so is our belief and confession. It’s all about our attitude towards God. Do you believe in a God of impossible who is a spirit and created us as a spirit? 2 Corinthians 5:17 we are a new creation. This means we are recreated to be Christlike, we are no more Adamic in nature. We have new relationship with God. We are not rejected nor abandoned but reconciled with God through Christ. We are complete in Him and are filled with His fullness. We are a member of the Body of Christ. Christ’s physical body was broken so that we are now spiritually complete and inherit eternal life.
There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1. When you are condemned, you have the authority to cast out those condemning words and bind yourself with words of success like Nehemiah 2:20 or even Roman’s 8:1. Old condemning words must be stripped off from you as you have individuated and cut free from your past emotional abusive words. God has plans for you and you are a champion. Roman’s 8:37.
You were reformed not to be defeated ever again but with eminence and dignity stand straight to bring honor to God with your testimonies.
God advised Joshua to be strong and courageous but it did not exterminate fear but when He said to meditate the words day and night and he will prosper and be granted success, the lamp of his body lighted up as his spirit searches deeply into his inner heart and attained victory at every battle as long as he worked with the Holy spirit. Our battle belongs to the Lord. We just have to stand still and see God’s intervention. 2 Chronicles 20:17. Of whom shall we fear when He is the light of our salvation? Psalm 27:1.
As you are a new creation, take on the faith of Christ and be a walking testimony for Jesus. Christ’s faith is proclamatory and so whatever we desire it is done. Matthew 15:28. God be praised.
