12 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Today’s Inspiration: Thoughts are powerful. They shape your life. Satan is aware of the power of your mind and always invades your thoughts making you depressed. If we want to live well, we must take responsibility of our thoughts,, our choices and the way we speak. This is why Apostle Paul insists on the renewal of our mind and not to conform to the enemy’s voices that daily try to invade our mind. Romans 12:2.
To prevent destructive talks invading the inner sanctuary of our soul, let us discard every thought that weary us and plant God’s words daily that nourishes our soul and which grants us success in whatever we do. Joshua 1:8.
You have been chosen for a new destiny so that what seemed impossible will become possible. Mark 9:23.
We should discard our old self which is full of self importance and self-will. When Jesus rebuked Simon son of Jonah, ‘behind me satan’ he is rebuking him for being fleshy. Jesus chose his disciples not because they were transformed beings but they were people of good potential. No one is perfect in this world as Jesus says. Still we need to be perfect for our Father in heaven is perfect.
It is important we build on our strengths to know our true self. Realising that our fleshy nature is still capable of malfunctioning, we need to fortify the weak areas through inner healing and transformation via God’s word. In short we need to go through a reparenting process called Father me where the old nurturing causing hurting events are exterminated from our soul and halted at the cross through crucifixion. Instead, we should replace these thoughts with our heavenly Father’s reparenting process. Hebrews 12:9-10. Our earthly father parent us the way they think best. But God reparent us for eternally good to inherit the spiritual truth of eternal life and be partakers of His holiness.
The spirit gives us life, the flesh profits nothing. John 6:63. So let us leave our fleshy life through planting God’s word that pierces deep into our bone marrow that produce pure blood to give us divine health. Let us be open to reparenting by the Lord that sanctified our heart. God be praised!
