Psalm 46:10            

10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Today’s Inspiration: Resting in the Lord and be still before God, listening intently to Him each morning should be our Kingdom lifestyle. Psalm 46:10, Psalm 100:3. We ought to remember to live as a newly born again being, who is not easily provoked to anger. If you do, your mind is not settled. We ought to have a renewed mind free to worship God to listen to His voice. Romans 12:2, Psalm 100:4.

When we engage our thoughts with God’s word, we feel energised, refreshed and empowered to do things we thought we could not do.

Problems recur always because the child of our growing up years within us keeps reminding us of the past that hinders our potential in Christ. This is the enemy of our soul which Moses says we should destroy them in Deuteronomy 20:17. Christians branded us as having spiritual warfare when we are actually ensnared by our past, which the growing up child within us keeps reminding us of the rebuke of our past. What was spoken to us in our growing up years and infancy do have a great influence over our life leaving us inadequate, frustrated, angry and guilty at times. Living in a slanderous environment cause you to be judgemental and slanderous. You ought to obliterate them from your life as they are such a hindrance to your future destiny.

Allow the still small voice to bring you to a place of serenity to reflect the life that you wish to lead and allow the Holy spirit to heal you of your past.

When your inward parts are wounded, externally you become hard and no matter how good an advice you shut them out. God desires to heal and cleanse you from your past defiled spirit and bring you to a place of wholeness where you can hear with clarity and revive your passion to serve Him. 2 Corinthians 7:1. He wants to replace the heart of stone with a heart of flesh. He wants to give you a new heart and a new spirit. Ezekiel 36:26.

Your past may not require you to make decisions because in your younger days, all decisions were made by your mom or dad. You grow without identity and without the ability to decide matters, resulting in you always on the crossroad waiting for someone to pull you to another direction you may not wish to enter. Like attracts likes. What is sown in your early years are harvested in your adult years. Galatians 6:7.

God’s arm is not too short that He cannot ransom you. Isaiah 50:2. He wants us to be a person who listens to His instruction and abandon our stubbornness and rebellion. Isaiah 50:4-5. You will not be put to shame. Verse 6. Jesus paid it all to redeem you from your past.

Get out from your past and be released to your destiny. Philippians 3:13.
