23 Then He will give the rain for your seed with which you sow the ground, and bread of the increase of the earth; it will be fat and plentiful. In that day your cattle will feed in large pastures.
24 Likewise the oxen and the young donkeys that work the ground will eat cured fodder, which has been winnowed with the shovel and fan..
Today’s Inspiration: I sense in my spirit that today is going to be a day of Holy Spirit’s power. He kept speaking this morning that for the fruitless they will be fruitful, (Isaiah 30:23-24) for those who are going through critical illness, there will be miracles and your agreement with death is cancelled. (Matthew 9:23-26). There will be joy and rejoicing (Isaiah 29:19) and Samaritan ministry in Father Me will bear fruit. Father me is a merciful ministry of Jesus, focusing on advocating love in the community even to those we don’t know especially for the wounded who have been injured spiritually, emotionally and physically. This merciful ministry is illustrated by Jesus in the parable of the Samaritan. (Luke 10:30-36).
Love is a sacrifice not only in words but in caring. Its not so much who is my neighbour but who become my neighbour. Love is not a sentimental feeling but a sacrificial action. It might mean interrupting my schedule, spending my money, risking my reputation even for a stranger so that I could do what is best for him or her. Love is the essence that feels, the care that involves and the commitment that endures. Our willingness to become involved in the needs of others is the evidence of the love of God in our lives.
Jesus did all that the Samaritan did and much more by His death upon the cross. His love was no ordinary love but redemptive. Giving our care and substance are the essence of God’s love. People want to be redeemed but not willing to give for such merciful ministry.
They give out of emotions rather than of God’s love. Jesus’ love was sacrificial. He paid for all. We cannot outgive Him. Giving expecting a return is not God’s way. He will provide needs and even multiply your giving but that is not the purpose of giving. It’s His grace in blessing you. A good attitude of giving is giving out of a generous and cheerful heart. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7. Let us extend care to those who are lost and destitute.
God is opening your spiritual ears to hear the words of the Bible and you no longer read the word without understanding for God will open your ears to listen. Isaiah 29:18, Isaiah 50:4-5. Till your spiritual eyes and ears are opened, you will not desire reading the word. Once they are opened you will crave for them every day. If you don’t read the Bible how can you say you love Jesus and how can you hear God’s voice? Jesus is the Word and reading His word is listening and communion with Him. God be praised!
