31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
Today’s Inspiration: When the Law of God is sealed into our heart and applies to our lives, we will not be easily ensnared. Psalm 37:31. For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake His faithful ones. V28.
Abraham and Sarah had to yield to God’s ways through a series of tests before they could advance towards their destiny. It’s through a series of tests that caused them to understand the Divine attributes of God. You cannot ascertain God’s direction for you till His appointed time. God is a God of Divine order and not an author of confusion.
It’s through the trials of life that our inner men is strengthened to take great exploits for God. Daniel 11:32. Energy spent doing God’s work must be from the energy of the spirit. Hence Moses even at the age of 120 has great strengths and his natural forces not abated. Our calling is by Divine appointment and not by accident or experiences. God is still sovereign even though our life has come to a point of no return. Behind the fiery trials He develops the childlike faith in us to trust Him for the solution.
The work we are doing is extensive and difficult. It requires a lot of faith. To build a life is tedious work especially if you are building up the life of a new covert or one of rebellious nature. Building up people to where they have never been before is toilsome but fulfilling ultimately. Asa got out of distress only after hearing God’s instructions to be strong and not to give up for his work will be rewarded. 2 Chronicles 15:7. A timely word from the Lord diffuses our thoughts of defeat. God be praised.
