Mark 16:17

17  “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues…”

Today’s Inspiration: Do you believe that signs and wonders will follow you in whatever you believe? Mark 16:17. You should always aimed for signs and wonders. Isaiah 8:18 that you may glorify God’s name always. In Him dwells all the fullness of the God head bodily and you are complete in Him who is the head of all principality and power. Colossians 2:9. If God is the head then we shall have nothing to fear but to allow Him to work in us mightily for the glory of His name.

Whilst there is disappointment there is always a glimmer of hope for the future. Genesis 3:15 echoing in the ears of Adam and Eve was the only hope they have for their future. But there was one condition and that was to walk in His ways and keep His commandments. In short, we can have hope of His glory if we follow His commandment. This has been the condition of fulfilment for a promise to take root. To resist the torment and harassment of the enemy is the only solution to all our problems. When faith takes root in our spirit signs and wonders follow.

What is hindering you to progress? It’s a time of reflection of the choices we made and meditate on the promises of the future. We were all created to be good and sanctified by words and prayer. Bad things happen to us because of wrong choices in life. We need to make the right choices in life. Wrong choices are an offense to the Lord made because we are not mindful of the things of God but the things of men. Matthew 16:23. This is the landmine we should avoid so that all be well with us.

Let us be people of signs and wonders to bring glory to God’s name. The Lord wants us to do the impossible with our faith. What is the level of your faith? Even if your faith is as small as a mustard seed, you can do wonders and reverse your errors to make things right. Matthew 17:20.

Prayer: Lord guide me and teach me to make the right choices in life that are pleasing to you that my life will be a prosperous one and in whatever I sow, I shall reap. Amen.

1 John 4:18

18  There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

Today’s Inspiration: Fear is our greatest enemy and has to be conquered by love for love casts out fear. 1 John 4:18. To nurture the damaged trees of wrong done to us is to be a prisoner of the past. To refuse to forgive is also destructive. Unforgiveness choked the life out of marriage or out of family relationship and friendship. To avoid forgiving would mean imprisoning your emotions.

It costs the Lord Jesus at Cavalry to bring us forgiveness. If we are to bear the image of God we cannot afford not to forgive our offender. Forgiveness carries a condition that it starts with us first to forgive the offender. To accept God’s forgiveness and to refuse to forgive our offenders is a wicked act as Jesus explained in the parable of unforgiven servant in Matthew 18:21-35. When you don’t forgive and you choose to be bitter against the offender, you have made yourself a slave to the offender.
