37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Today’s Inspiration: Just when you think there is no hope, and about to give up and shun people, God sends a messenger of His good news to you. At a time when you do not know who you are, God came with the answer ” Who you are is in your thoughts.” The Bible says you are more than conquerors in Romans 8:37 yet you are still battling in your soul to get out of your misery. Victory is attained only through your thoughts of victory not defeat. If you think you can, you can. It’s the change of your thoughts that made you an overcomer. Proverbs 23:7, Romans 4:17. Boldly declare who you are is what you are destined to be and who you want to be.
The Bible says that we were chosen to be holy and blameless in his sight. In your reflection today you may ask yourself what is to be Holy and blameless in His sight and how God is rating us to qualify for this statement. What efforts are we making to be Holy and blameless. Ephesians 1:5.
He predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ in accordance to His pleasure and will to the praise of His glorious grace. V6 What does it mean to be His son or daughter? Are our life and our attitudes and behaviour bring glory to His name and qualify us to be prince or princess of God?
You are the head and not the tail yet you never seem to reach the top. You must first know who your God is and knows His heart. May your eyes be enlightened to know what is in His heart for you. V18. The one who accomplishes are the one who believes who he is in Christ Jesus. If you are in lack then your heart is not enlightened to the riches of His glory and the incomprehensible great power he has bestowed upon. It’s not about your abilities and intellect that can accomplish beyond your thoughts but the belief that the power He bestowed upon you will empower you to attain the highest place men cannot fathom. This is why God stressed on humility that exalts you to the nations. Man looks on external abilities and personality but God looks at the beauty of the heart to bring us to the highest place. 1 Samuel 16:7. David was chosen because he qualifies the standards in God’s heart. Jesus models servanthood to His children to achieve the highest place.
As believers, we should know who our God is and we are backed by Jesus, whose rulership, power, dominion and authority are unmatchable. How then can we lose the race to Cancer or any critical illness or the spirit of poverty or even retrenchment? Ephesians 1:21. We must not forget we are members of His body and our body a temple of the Holy spirit, hence we will win and not lose. God be praised because we are chosen.
