Jeremiah 32:17

17 Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

God loves His people beyond measure and it has always been in His heart to do good for His people and put fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Him. We need to be an overcomer to glorify His name. God always want you to stay in the land to prosper you. Jer 32:32-44. Nothing is too difficult for Him. Nothing is too big that God cannot solve it. Verse 17.

Jacob never knew he would prosper so much. His whole life was full of affliction. But in his affliction, God gave him wisdom in his work and ultimately prosper him. Even though he gave away much of his possessions to his brother, he gained even more in the years to come. What you sow in early years you prosper in latter years. Gal 6:7.

The Bible is full of life lessons we can learn from. His hope was to spend all the days of his life with Rachel but to his much regret, he lost her to childbirth and his greatest regret, was that has to spend his latter days with the woman he did not love Leah, whom God used to bring forth the greatest tribes of Israel Judah and Levi contrary to everyone’s expectation. He never expects to be buried with Leah. Rachel was not in God’s plan of redemption.

Till we come to terms with God on His terms, we will forever be in the wilderness. We have to watch our ways.

Till Jacob come to terms with God, he struggled in pain all his life. His favourtism of Joseph caused the sibling rivalry among his sons that brought him grief for 17 years . God had a better plan for Joseph. His prophetic dream to Joseph must come to pass.

There are lessons in life we need to learn from his life’s journey. So let us allow God to lead us to paths of righteousness for His name sake Pas 23:3. He has a better plan for you.

When you transgress against God’s covenant, you will fall into the hands of the enemies. Jer 34:18-20. We can never thwart God’s plans. Job 42:2. Our life is in His hands. Let us work according to His plan.
