1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.
2 And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”
Today’s Inspiration: The stories in the Bible always point to our total allegiance to God Almighty starting from Abraham for He is a covenant God who wants to bless us exceedingly and abundantly. Genesis 17:1-2. Scripture is the pathway of knowing God well. Luke 24.27. Therefore steadfastness in studying the Bible is necessary for us as through them you can hear God and heed His voice which maybe a warning or restoration to His righteousness, or a word to transform your life to get out of the trials you are going through.
If life is very smooth, you don’t need Jesus. Pruning process of testing makes us stronger, more productive, makes us reflect where God wants us to be. It also makes us reflect on the meaning of life.
Life has to be connected to our Creator the source of our provision, protection and fulfilment. Unless we are connected to the source who is our Vine we cannot get out of the fire. It is through pruning that we are empowered to take great exploits for the Lord. Hebrews 11:32-33. We must consistently move forward even in crisis. Philippians 3:13.
As we allow the Lord to lead us, we reached a destination of solace and stillness that leads us to victory in our life. It is this stillness of resting in Him that we find fullness of joy in all that we do. Psalm 46:10, Psalm 51:8.
Clarity of mind causes us to make the right decision in life and consequently we reach the plain of prosperity. Psalm 122:7 and Psalm 128:3.
Hence for every crisis there is a reason. It is only when we come on His terms that breakthrough comes knocking at our door. Spiritual priorities should be our lifestyle for abundant kingdom life.
