2 Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’
Today’s Inspiration: God is our salvation. We should not be afraid. For Yahweh the Lord is our strength and song. He also had become our salvation. Isaiah 12:2. Therefore with joy we shall draw water from the wells of salvation. V3. While reading this word the words ‘Just Believe’ keep ringing in my ears. We tend to moan over spilt milk and have many questions in our mind regarding the plight we are in but actually circumstances are the result of little details we were cautioned of but we dismiss them as insignificant. Our circumstances are the result of ignoring God’s soft prompting. It’s the little things that matters to our life.
It’s the little thoughts that distort the words of people who meant well that caused you to vocalise the enemy’s lies that caused such a stress in your life that brought you to a dilemma. Then there are thoughts of doubt and fear that caused people to fall into the pit. This is why Jesus always tells those who come to Him not to fear but just believe. He knows every heart.
A Christian walk is a walk of faith. It’s childlike faith that will help us overcome problems. Childlike faith seems simple but the flesh is always fighting against the spirit of faith and this why the book of Hebrews devoted a full chapter in chapter 11 on those who walk by faith and also throughout scripture we see signs and wonders following those who come with childlike faith. I am sure their walk, like us, too had not been easy but there was no other option but to cry out to God and believe.
This is why Jesus says signs and wonders will follow those who believe and they will speak in New tongue. The new tongues here I believe it’s not speaking only in diversity of tongues for a breakthrough but also to speak a new language of belief. Mark 16:17.
