1 So the Lord said to Moses: “See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet.”
Today’s Inspiration: The Lord told Moses in Exodus 7:1 that He will send him to Pharaoh to deliver the Israelites out of Egypt not as a slave but as a god to Pharaoh of Egypt. What does this mean? It means that Moses will not speak to Pharaoh like a slave but a god to him. He is to take on a new mindset as a person anointed by God, empowered by the spirit of God and appointed as a messenger of God to be His Oracle and deliverer. He will not go to Pharaoh pleading, begging, and asking for the release but as God’s messenger to demand the release of the slaves that they might go and worship God.
In this age and time where Jesus has already won the victory for us, we must not do spiritual warfare for victory but we must fight from the mindset of victory where the enemy cannot draw near to us because we are covered and marked by the blood of Jesus and taken on His lineage. Satan has been damaged in the brain by Jesus like David hit Goliath on the forehead and defeated him. No matter what adverse reports you receive, profess and possess your victory over every sickness and diseases and every failure and wait for the time of Deliverance of the Lord. Healing is progressive. It takes Moses a long time using every kind of tool to defeat Pharaoh but it was only at the tenth attempt was he able to succeed but the battle had just begun. Even if Jesus won the victory at the cross, you still have to fight. It’s like David. After winning the battle against Goliath in 1 Samuel 17:51 he had to fight continuously and not be complacent. As Christians, we must embrace the warfare mentality. God is with us as we fight the battle. He does not fight the battle for us. He empowers us for the battle ahead and we must take the violence against us by force. Matthew 11:12.
To win the battle against the forces, we must wear the helmet of salvation and not the hat of condemnation and carry the sword of the spirit with us always. Ephesians 6:17. People are defeated because they wear the hat of condemnation to battle. Satan knows you have been wearing your hat of condemnation throughout your life and he keeps using his best tool of discouragement to add to your list of condemnation on self so that he can get you out of focus and lead you to your defeat before you fight. You must possess victory before you fight.
David was not willing to react to his brother’s rebuke 1 Samuel 17:28 but proceed with the assignment God gave to him and won the battle single handed with the sword of the spirit and the familiar tool that had always won battles even the fiercest battle against the lion and the bear instead of a spear that surprised the whole army of Israel including that of Goliath and I believe his brothers too. 1 Samuel 17:45-51.
God always use the foolish to confound the wise. 1 Corinthians 1:27. As long as you are careful to do what God has commanded you, and not be diverted from your objective, all will be well with you as you possess the land allotted to you and your life be prolonged. Deuteronomy 5:32-33. God be praised!
