Hebrew 12:6, 9-12
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth…
Do not be discouraged when you are going through adversity. Discipline is good for the soul. It is His way of transforming you to His image and to bear fruit.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
Why are our problems endless? You seem to gain victory and another problem is before you to solve. The root lies in careless words received from your mother which dates back to your life in the mother’s womb. Hearing mother and father fighting, experiencing the mother’s negative feelings shaped our experiences and actions throughout life. Praying through this period can bring healing to those damaged before birth. As David said he was conceived in sin from his mother’s womb. This thought he carried to adulthood till he was healed by God. We cannot never escape repentance to be whole.
Wounds in the mother’s womb are always identity crisis, sex confusion especially when your mom wants a boy rather than a girl and vice versa, fear and rejection. This identity crisis prevents us from our calling. In actual fact we were planned by God. Ps 139.13-16.
Life and death of our career lies in our tongue so we have to be careful what we confess. When mom and dad found out about the pregnancy and utter ‘Oh no!’ The child in the womb would carry this rejection throughout life until God redeems. If you sing the song ‘I am nobody’s child’ you have already rejected the child. We need to be cautious in our words to children.
What is the promise of God? The Lord is your helper you should not fear. Why fear man? A rejected person tends to be performance oriented to please men rather than please God and fear Him in reverence of God (Heb 13:6). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Heb 13.5). He is the same yesterday today and forever. (Heb 13:8)
May the God of peace make you complete in every Good work to do His will working in you what is pleasing to His sight that all may go well with you. V21. Let our fruit of lips bless God and thank Him always in every situation. Once this habit if formed abundance in every good work will be our portion. May today’s inspiring thought brings you understanding of your cyclical problem today so that you may bring to God for healing.
