Today’s Inspiration: God is challenging us to see with our spiritual eyes to see His revelation of things unknown to us. Isaiah 48:6.
What are the hidden things you are seeking for? If it is to deliver a problem, seek Him. As we enter the year of fruitfulness, it is essential to clear up all the filth and have a clean slate to welcome the year of empowerment and fruitfulness.
It is good not to dwell on offence as it is a reflection of divine attribute. Acquire wisdom and it gives you patience. Proverbs 19:11.
It is good to heed the wise counsel of the Lord. Samson took Godly counsel lightly and neglect the counsel of the Lord. He would not have such a tragic end had he obeyed His commandments and directions. There was no fear of the Lord in him. He was self righteous and overly confident that his strength will be forever. He was beaten by the lustful spirit the spirit of Delilah. He was also defeated by the rebellious spirit. This should be a lesson to everyone including the young generation. It is important to have good understanding in order to win favour from the Lord. When there is favour of the Lord, we will have favour from man.
Samson should have guard his boastful ways in his lips. He gave away the secret of his strength through his lips. How true proverbs 13 is! He who guards his lips guards his life. He who speaks rashly will come to ruin. This holds true of Samson who was enticed by Delilah to speak out the secret of his strength unaware that she was bribed by the Philistines to entice him. Let us all take heed of God’s voice to avoid the landmines of the enemy. Our lips either bear fruit or be ruined. Proverbs 13:2.
