2 Timothy 2:24-26

24  And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient,

25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,

26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.

Today’s Inspiration: As servant of the Lord, we need to be patient, not quarrelsome, gentle to all and be able to teach and in humility correct those who oppose you so that you will escape the snares of the devil. 2 Timothy 2:24-36. Deceit of the devil is allowable by God to test you but not to harm you.

When Job was tested, Satan asked for permission first to touch finances then sickness. Job 1:11-12, 2:4-6. Even for Eve, the deceit comes first and Eve’s covetousness for wisdom and enjoyment to fill the stomach, fall prey to it. So do not be deceived. Galatians 6:7. We are to be found faithful stewards of the mysteries of God. 1 Corinthians 4:1. As servant Christ, we do not pursue worldly skill and talents but skill in living God’s ways.

Our life is to glorify God so we cannot afford to fail His test. God looks at our inward heart and expect us to have wisdom from above which is peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of Mercy bearing good fruit, without partiality and without hypocrisy. James 3:17. God will surely build you a house if you would be faithful and do according to what is in His heart and mind. 1 Samuel 2:35.

Satan’s aim is to separate you from God. it’s time to submit to God, resist the enemy and to draw closer to Him. James 4:7-8. It’s only God’s grace that we can grow and mature in Him so that we could easily say NO to ungodliness and be able to be godly and be formed to His likeness as vessel of honor.

Hence during this circuit breaker time, take the opportunity to read and meditate the word and be transformed by focusing on your relationship with Christ. God be praised.
