5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
Today’s Inspiration: The ultimate purpose that you were created for was to love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength and to have endless communication with Him. Deuteronomy 6:5. The second highest purpose that we were created for is to love our neighbour as ourselves, Matthew 22.39 and to love one another. 1 John 4:5.
True love is freedom from ourselves and freedom from the ultimate bondage: self-centredness. What could be a greater freedom than this? This is why all the negativity are being replaced by this Law of loving Him and loving one another. If we love God then we worship Him and Him alone. If we Love one another, then we will not envy, murder or covet etc. Everything we do we must do with love.
Love is submission to one another and to everyone who works and labour with us. 1 Corinthians 16:16. Refreshing one another’s spirit is the pathway of life. V18.
The reason why God gives every man a helper is because two have better returns for their labour. A three fold cord is not easily broken. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12. Satan knows this truth and always want to break Christian relationships. Two cords from Hebraic perspective represent the covenant between you and God. If you fall, God will pick you up. God also needs an instrument to accomplish His purpose and so we are His servant or helper. The third fold cord is our teacher who is our friend. You need someone to teach you. You need a friend to guide you. If this is broken, we cannot connect to God. We cannot say we love God and hate our brother in Christ. His word says if we do this, we are a liar and liars cannot inherit His kingdom. It is His commandment to us that he who loves God must love his brother also. 1 John 4:20-21.
The reason why I always emphasised on meditating His word is because it has such a great impact on your personal life, family, finance, health and your future. Before Jesus returns to build His physical tabernacle of David, He needs to build your spiritual tabernacle first. 1 Corinthians 3:16. Our worship must be prophetic in order to super naturally transform our hearts and lives to His likeness for we were created in His image and therefore also created for greatness. Genesis 1:26-27. You and I are not qualified in God’s eyes because of who we are but because of who He is! David was never considered by his father to be anointed king. He exempted David and what a surprise it must have been for him to ultimately find out that David was chosen by God to be king. God chose those who are only after His heart with no personal agenda but those whom He knows can accomplish His purpose. Our ways are never His ways. Isaiah 55:8-9. God be praised!
