12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Today’s Inspiration: The devil always want us to be stuck in our life and distract us by being busy fighting our problems through fear. This is what is happening now in the world. Some of you might be mired in illness, debts, grief, job situation, unhealthy relationship, loss of faith in God etc on the crossroad not knowing what to do. We may feel we have been outwitted by the devil. All of us have faced such situation at one time or the other. I was no exception. God has been dealing with my faith for decades and still testing and elevating it at every trial through testing my perseverance and believing in Him to bring us to a new position. It is not a time to quit but to persevere even if this trial appears to be a death sentence in the natural. A defeatist attitude leads us to destruction but adopting the attitude of faith of God leads us to triumph. Paul keeps exhorting us to press on to attain. Philippians 3:12-14. We are to overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. We must have testimony to glorify God in our life.
At a time like this, it’s not a time to quit but a time to take on a confrontation with Satan over our rights that were given to us at the time the Holy Spirit was given to us to inhabit in our human spirit to connect to God and His presence. Abiding relationship is the key that will guide us to success. John 15:7.
Satan tried to weaken our faith, and keeps us going round the mountain like the Israelites at Mount Sinai. But we must exit our circumstances and not forget we have a prophetic destiny to fulfill. We must use the power of breakthrough prayer to smash the vicious cycle of unbelief and declare faith, thereby breaking the enemy’s scheme. It takes persevering faith and endurance to break the schemes of the enemy. We have power to do this because God is on our side. He is our help.
As we enforce victory violently by faith, (Matthew 11:12) He manifests His presence and we have the wisdom and understanding to overthrow the enemy in our lives.
We must understand the relationship between faith and authority. The understanding of authority in Matthew 28:18 and our empowerment in Matthew 10:1 together with our faith like that of the centurion will be the keys to unlock our destiny and enter into His promise by faith. The centurion did not give up and understood faith and authority that entitles him to Jesus’ appraisal of his faith and his servant was healed at Jesus’ declaration of healing over his servant. Matthew 8:7-13. Whatever we believe will be done to us.
What do you believe about the situation you are in? I hope this inspiration will lift up your spirit to solve the current problem you are facing. May God grant you more understanding of faith and authority as you meditate on these verses this morning.. God be praised.
