18 The LORD knows the days of the upright, and their inheritance shall be forever.
19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
Today’s Inspiration: The days of the blameless are known to the Lord and their inheritance will endure forever. As God’s people, we do not look at the economy. In His Kingdom even in times of famine, you will have plenty. Psalm 37:18-19. What you believe is what you receive. Proverbs 23:7. With God is the fountain of life, in His light you see light. God desires a vessel who is upright at heart. Psalm 36:9-10.
Many of us, when we are in distress, we confront the demon. Actually, we need to confront the sinful behaviours that open the door to the enemy – the poison of our soul, our anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, our doubt, our fears, our anxiety, our insecurity, our shame and our rejection and inadequacy. These are all carnal and need to be discarded from our spirit and soul. All these defiled our spirit as we see in 2 Corinthians 7:1 and Galatians 5:19-21.
The eternal truth is to cough out the poison from your soul which is to remove the garbage from your soul and deal with the areas of sin and brokenness in your life and bring the power of the cross to bear upon these areas. Experience the forgiving, cleansing and healing power of Christ’s blood. Make this your focus and freedom from the demonic shackles will follow. Galatians 3:13, 5:1.
Many a time when sin is confessed and forgiveness is received, the demon has nothing to cling onto us and many a time they leave and we are free from oppression and harassment. Peter was forgiven of his sins but he could not forgive himself and thinks he has lost his apostleship and God will not use him. He and his friends went back to fishing but caught no fish. You should never go back to the plow. Jesus knew their hearts and they need to accomplish the will of God, so Jesus came with His assurance and restoration of His Love to him. John 21. What an awesome healing he received from the Lord!
Its all in God’s timing. Peter almost missed the call of God but by God’s mercy, he became a vessel of honour. Boldness came to him and the church was established and the gospel spread throughout the nation of Israel and look at the impact now he has made to the whole world. God turned a broken vessel to an extraordinary man of God. All God needs is to start a fire in you so that you can be an impact to His kingdom. What the devil meant for evil, God over turns his schemes for His glory. Romans 8:28. The fear of the Lord attracts His wisdom to your heart. Trust Him.
