11 I returned and saw under the sun that—the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.
Today’s Inspiration: The Holy spirit’s fire is here and you need to catch it. What a wisdom of God today! Indeed life is about timing and opportunities. Ecclesiastes 9:11. Nothing can compare to it, not skill, not riches, not competition. Since last few years I have prophesied about suddenlies and people can be caught in the net unaware. How true! Look at what the word of God said in v12. Man does not know his time be it career, business or relationships. We cannot afford to be complacent nor take grace for granted. We need to be in tune with the spirit daily. Look at the suddenlies in Sri Lanka and Indonesia. The church ought to gather and pray. Acquire wisdom as wisdom is better than weapons of war. V18.
God’s promises is that as long as we fear Him, all will be well. Ecclesiastes 8:12. Conciliation is more important because it pacifies great offenses. Ecclesiastes 10:4. Therefore don’t quit your post. Stand still. Those who quit easily are deemed to be losers but those who stand in confidence will see light at the end of the tunnel. We need to walk in the light and allow Jesus to shine in our life that all may go well with us.
Life’s challenges are inevitable but as long as we commit our works to the Lord He will guide us towards success. Our life is in the hands of God. Without Him we can do nothing. We must do what God directs us to do. Our will must align with that of our Father. We cannot do what our human understanding directs us but what the Spirit wants us to do. Even Jesus seeks His Father’s will. John 5:30. He has been given authority to execute judgement.
Our success depends on the right timing and opportunity. If you feel its the right timing and the door is opened to you, walk right in and you will never fail for greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world. 1 John 1:4. Let the Lord be the sustainer of your soul. God be praised!
