10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”
Today’s Inspiration: When Jesus declared to Satan that it is written that worship the Lord our God is the primary function of man, he left Him and the angels stepped in. Matthew 4:10. This shows worship truly caused the enemy to abandon us and the vacuum is replaced by angels. In my battle with the patients over their critical illness, the Lord directed the call to worship and to plead for mercy as He will grant them according to His sovereign will. We need to align ourselves with His will. Romans 9:14. He is the potter and we are the clay. It is all in His power and mercy. Verse 21.
God’s great love for us is immeasurable. Romans 8:39 and nothing can separate us from this Love for God is love. Romans 8:38. He is the One who holds your future. We just have to commit everything into His hands. We can do nothing without Him. Until and unless we agree to change our ways, our desires can never be fulfilled.
Life is all about change. Its all about changing consistently ourselves to His sovereign will. Its time to let go of our own selfishness and stubbornness and receive our breakthrough. Troubles comes only when we insist our own ways. May the Holy spirit convicts you to a change.
Life is about continuous learning. We can never stop learning. Revelatory encounters are given to us to change our character and our thoughts to His will.
One final word of truth for today. As Disciples we should work to head for the Father’s house. It is time to prepare ourselves for that day. The parable of the prodigal son is an example of a fool with selfish means and desires. The world revolves around him oblivious to the deceitfulness of riches. He learnt truth and returned to His Father’s house for forgiveness and servitude. Luke 15:18.
Wise people serve God and invest in eternity. A wise steward works on his golden future and invest in eternal friendships. Make money your God and it will plague you like the devil says Henry Fielding. Either God owns our wealth or it owns us. We must choose our ultimate loyalty. Investment in the Kingdom pays as God used our investment to transform our life and made us His friend. How are you investing in your wealth? Are you working towards change? Your situation can change only by His grace and mercy. Prayer without working towards change will be futile.
