35 For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord
Today’s Inspiration: Blessed is the man who listens to God, watching at the gates, waiting at the post of doors. Whoever finds the Lord, finds life and obtains favour from the Lord. Proverbs 8:34-35.
To hear the voice of God, we must learn to be still and quieten our hearts. It’s only when we quieten our hearts that we are able to hear distinctly the voice of God.
Joshua was told to meditate on the word of God. Meditation of the word alone is not enough. We must put the word into practice. Proverbs 8:32. The more you obey and practise the Word of God, the more the word becomes part of you.
Meditating on the word is logos but when it is rooted in your spirit it becomes a rhema word or the spoken word. The word becomes flesh. John 6.54 we are to partake of the word. When you partake of the word, His Word becomes flesh in your spirit. It’s only when His word becomes a reality in our life that change takes place in our hearts and we be transformed from glory to glory. 2 Corinthians 3:18. God’s glory is going to be awesome far greater than the glory of the former house. And in the place where you are He will grant you peace. Everything in the universe belongs to Him. Haggai 2:7-8. Therefore do not fear but be strong and work for the Lord your God is with you. Haggai 2:4-5.
