Today’s inspiration: As we plan to enter 2019 a fruitful year through empowerment let us seek God and discover His plan and goals for us to execute towards success. 2018 may have been challenging for you but if you persistently persevere patiently, He will hear your distress and redeem you unharmed. Psalm 55:6-8.
In this psalm David wrote about betrayal of a close friend, one who walks with him to the House of God in sweet fellowship. Verses 12-14. In this psalm he warned us that man can change his ways and attitude towards you but God will never change. Verse 19.
Beware of people whose speech is like butter but behind him lies a dagger ready to stab you at the back. How many people suffer backstabbing today? Whatever it is, we are exhorted to trust Him. People who tend to react by twisting your words and plotting to harm you, eager to take your life are those who are self-centred and covetous because in life they lack the Good things you have. Just rejoice because satan is jealous and afraid of your status and strength. Just do not fear. When God is on your side who can go against you? Romans 8.31.
He will not let you suffer beyond what you can bear. Look towards your deliverance and not your sufferings. In due time God rewards you for your faithfulness. Cast your cares upon Him. He cares. Psalm 55:22.
