13 So rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm..
Today’s Inspiration: Addressing our weaknesses and finding healing and wholeness would lead to our transformation and divine health. This is the objective of our Father Me Reparenting program. Restoration to wholeness has always been in God’s heart for His children. God wants us to rend our heart not our garments and return to Him so that He could relent from sending calamity but instead have compassion on you and leave a blessing. Joel 2:13, Jeremiah 30:17-20. Have faith to believe that God will punish your oppressor.
God wants to give you favour and rest even if you are going through a desert experience. He is an everlasting, ever loving God and will build you up again to be fruitful again. It’s a season of joy and celebration not a joy of mourning your plight. Jeremiah 31:3-5. With joy and faith comes a fruitful harvest and divine health..
Walking through the Bible, you will see that the disciples selected by Jesus are not the ones who are qualified for leadership in our days. How did Jesus transform and put up with them is something worth pondering as leaders in the marketplace and church. Old Testament leaders were also ordinary people who were transformed and built by God to be great leaders. It’s their faith, their repentance, their submission, their obedience and the ability to humble that make them a difference to the whole world recorded in the world’s oldest and greatest Book. 2 Timothy 2:2.
Jesus’ teaching must be kept with faith and love in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 1:13. You are to guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you – guard it with the help of the Holy spirit who lives in you. Verse 14.
What an honour and privilege! Those were ordinary man inspired by the Holy spirit. Will you be able to be used likewise? Why not? God looks at your readiness, your availability, your obedience and the willingness to listen to the inner voice that speaks success all the time.
Your flaws and your struggles do not disqualify you. God only want you to possess His attributes to impact the world who do not know Him. Today I have seen that, sitting with the believers, they are no better than those who claim to have no belief in God. Today the churches are compromising their message to please the congregation more than sharing truths of the Gospel and truth hurts.
If we do not listen to the truths behind God’s word, we do so at our own peril. Today’s churches no longer shout ‘Fire’ to their hearers. We are accountable to God in the last day if we fail to do so. Sadly, broken marriage vows and business contracts are seen in believers more than those who do not believe in Christ. It’s time we produce believers who bother to have self-discipline of devotion and personal reflection and conviction, who fear God and walk in His ways that they be living examples of Christ to impact the nations.
Are we giving hope and blessing to an unbelieving world bringing them to a place of healing and wholeness? Are we producing disciples or crowd? Let us store up our treasures in heaven and get back to the eternal word. Natural understanding is world’s view. Let us replace with spiritual understanding through God’s wisdom in His word.
