Matthew 12:36-37                        

36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.

37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”.’

Today’s Inspiration: Jesus cautioned us against speaking careless words as we will give an account of them on the day of judgement. By our words we will be justified and by our words we will be condemned. God loves one who speaks by faith in expectant of their fulfilment. Matthew 12:36-37. For God did not designed us for wrath but for salvation. 1 Thessalonians 5:9. Its wise we watch and be sober. Matthew 5:9.

God’s wisdom through His words, are to influence our speech. Words that perceive in our hearts are to teach or control our speech and to conduct holiness and sweetness to our health. Our words should lead others to an overcoming victorious life through consistent acknowledgement of the power and might of our Almighty God with our mouth.

Hebrews 12:2 exhorts us to keep our eyes on Jesus so that our emotions will not be a roller coaster. When you focus on Jesus, your mind is consistent and will not waver in faith. But alas! We tend to focus on the things that hurt.

By looking into the eternal, there is a strong spirit within us. So kingdom minded was Joshua in the Bible. Possessing God’s love enables us to face life with enthusiasm. We surely can possess His love because He Loves us and lives inside of us. Christ came with a new heart not to fear but to believe in signs and wonders. He is able to perform and not to treat our symptoms.

Though we don’t like to be in wilderness experience, through God it can be the greatest experience of our life. Your Gethsemane should not be treated as a tragedy but to accept it as a challenge and allow God time to complete the pruning process to open your eyes to maturity. We are to mature. We can attain maturity only when we gain victory over every transitional period of our life.

Psalm 37:4 requires us to yield to a power greater than ourselves in order to have our desires fulfilled according to His will. You will have peace of mind when you take your eyes off self to see where your arrow is pointing.

No one can find God without their deepest desire. We must be pruned to become a yielded vessel of honour overflowing with the Holy spirit. It’s only when you are filled, that all favours come to you. Even the enemies will prostate on seeing you because they see a brilliant light shining in your face. Isaiah 60:14.

Violence will no longer overtake you neither wasting diseases for you shall call your walls salvation and your gates praise. Verse 18.
