1 Corinthians 2:4-5
4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.he Lord has made them both.”
Today’s Inspiration: Our faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. We do not need to convince or persuade people to listen to us and follow us. We just need to be a living example of Christ of loving one another as directed by the Lord with His divine attributes. Do they see Christ in us? Human wisdom cannot grant us the peace that godly wisdom produces. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5.
He will surely answer your prayer for the season so long as your motive and attitudes are right. The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord searching all the inner depths of his heart, verse 27. What is He speaking to you this morning? How has your heart been searched? It is only by humility and fear of the Lord do you have riches, honour and life? Proverbs 22:4.
Allowing God to search our hearts and examine our mind daily should be our lifestyle. Psalm 139:23-24. Sometimes we ourselves do not know we carry unnecessary baggage that weigh us down. We need to reflect and lay them down. The Holy spirit is here to work with us and our family. There are times we cannot handle the family. We need to pray for the Holy spirit to convict their hearts that their faith will not fail.
With temptations of the world enticement, we need to ground them with the word of God so they don’t easily backslide. No one knows the things that God is doing in our life and that of our family except the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 2:11.
We are clueless of what is happening to us and our family without the help of the Holy spirit. It’s time the Holy spirit be real in our life. We must speak the language of the Holy spirit not the words of man’s wisdom to turn people back to Christ. Verse 12. We are now a spiritual person no more a worldly person as a believer.
