32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Today’s Inspiration: Life is a battle especially for the Christians who is the target of satan. But Christians are not aware that they are in a privileged position and unless they know the truth they cannot be set free. John 8:32. In examining our battles daily, we will all agree that Satan’s strategy is always using words to put us in conflict with each other and these words are normally planted on those closest to you to provoke you. His greatest weapon is to get you to misunderstand the message of those close to you and caused you to have wrong perception. This is why Jesus says we are in the world but not of the world. Apostle Paul wrote that though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. Hence we wage war not in the fleshy realm but in the spiritual realm and only the knowledge of His word (Jesus being God and the word) can demolish strongholds which satan placed in the thoughts of people used to provoke us.
This is why Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:12 says we are not against flesh and blood but against the power of darkness and principalities (Satan himself) who placed such thoughts in people’s minds against us. We must use God’s word, one of the greatest divine weapon to eliminate all the critical and judgemental words spoken against us.
As Christians we do not wait for satan to attack us then we defend ourselves. We must always be on the offensive ready to attack him. Unless we’re know God’s words we cannot use them to attack those words spoken against us. Jesus attacked satan with His words to attack the enticing words of satan that would destroy His calling. Matthew 4:4-11.
Prophecies or His promises to you, have to be waged with a good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18. Timothy was afraid to enter into the calling because of warnings to him by his contemporaries of the possible conflict, opposition and dangers of his calling that held him back. Paul came back with the words of encouragement to serve whole-heartedly with courage and dedication in the spiritual warfare that is the direct result of his commitment to serve the Lord.
The warfare you are waging whether at home or office is the result of your calling be it sickness, your job or marriage relationships. Satan will cause events and thoughts to paralyse your call. The war you are waging could be the result of your high calling in the Lord. God has given you His divine weapon ‘the word of God. ‘ Use it against satan. Draw a bloodline over your life, your family, your calling and the deep revelation that is coming to you. Just be at peace this morning and get back to your prayer closet to do a reflection and seek His ways of tackling your problems. God be praised!
