6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Today’s Inspiration: Every time we are out of control and react, we have abide to the enemy’s enticement. Every time we sin or react in anger, our flesh aligns itself to do the will of the enemy and have come into Communion with the devil, who will eventually dominate us. Every time when things turn out contrary to our expectation, we tend to blame people for our pathetic situation but the truth is that the person responsible for our plight has come into agreement with the devil to destroy all the goodness that God has planned for us. It is for this reason that Jesus has to come on this Earth to show the way to live and to destroy the works of the devil. John 14:6 & 1 John 3:8.
What we need is for the Holy Spirit to rise over us so that the devil has to flee for He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. Jesus says we will do what He does and greater works than His for He is going to the Father in John 14:12. But we cannot enter into these promises unless we truly have Revelation of the reality of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit does not bring only His teachings, joy and comfort to us but also open our eyes to see the dark world around us so that we will be able to see the enemy’s snares so that we can outwit him like David and Joshua just to quote examples. To win the war against the enemy, we must bring ourselves under the full submission of God and to have close Communion with Him. James 4:7. Until we understand how he operates and who he signifies at the time of operation, you cannot topple him.
David knew how to take on Goliath because He is in close Communion with God and touched His heart with humility and meekness. He never moved without the instructions from the Holy Spirit. Through the Holy Spirit he knew Satan was behind the threats of Goliath so he uses God’s name as priority over his skill and past glory in fighting the bears and lions to protect his sheep. 1 Samuel 17:34-37, 45. Until God’s name goes before us, we are easily ensnared by the devil.
One truth we need to know that the devil always used men to boast about their strength and power to frighten you. Saul was in that position under the threat by Goliath, staying in the tent not knowing what to do because he trusted in men’s ability rather than God’s. 1 Samuel 17:8-11.
Like Satan caused Adam and Eve to turn against each other in Genesis 3:13, he caused us many times to be unjustifiably accused by people through their anger or hurt and this cycle continues throughout life until we come to terms with God that the devil is the one behind the accusation and to stop condemning ourselves to self destruction but moves on with His plan, whenever we are misunderstood and wrongly accused. We need understanding and inner courage to refute the enemy behind every hurt and false accusations instead of reacting in anger.
Satan is all out to see that we fail and curse God in the face as what Job’s wife did in folly. Job being righteous began rebuking her for only appreciating God in times of plenty. Job 2:9-10. When we fall into the snares of the devil’s schemes, we have fulfilled Satan’s goal. Satan is aware of our weakness and use it to achieve his goal to glorify himself.
So don’t give in to his temptations or he will use it to clothe you with Shame, disgrace and condemnation. God is faithful. He will help you to overcome every temptation and elevate you to another level of faith. Job was blessed in double portion when his eyes were opened to the powers of God and His source of blessings. Job 42:5.
Let us lay aside all the filth and confusion that the devil has imposed upon us and move with God’s agenda of new ways of praising Him even in times of calamity according to His grace that brings forth riches of His glory. God is always doing a new thing in your life. Isaiah 43:18-19, and this is why the old must go and the new most come. 2 Corinthians 5:17. God be praised!
